DMX Digital to Analog Decoder

Ex-PORT decoders will receive DMX512 digital protocol for Stage lighting products and convert it into 24 or 48 analog voltages. The starting address of the channels can be easily adjusted with the help of two buttons. There is also provision for self test mode where the output can be tested even when there is no DMX signal. The backlit of the LCD will start blinking when there is no DMX signal (apart from self test mode) which can easily be spotted from a distance

A state-of-the-art technology,known as Digi-POT has been used in the development of this version of DMX Decoder. It is a digitally controlled electronic component that mimics the analog functions of a potentiometer. The need of the R-2R circuit or a Digital-to-analog converter, with resistor ladder has been eliminated. This results in a marked increase in the performance of the analog devices which are connected at its output terminal.
